Project: Work with youth (volunteers education)

Here are approximate costs we need to complete this project. If you wish, you can participate in any part of a project. Your possible covering of any need is much appreciated! It is a way of keeping treasury on heavens.

The central idea of work with young people (from different Christian churches) is laying in seeking leaders and volunteers for our missionary groups. We invite young people on meetings with goal to inspire them for mission work. In time of our meetings we look and choose volunteers between them. Even if young man does not work with us after the series of meetings, he has changed, Biblical view on missionary work and on need in proclaiming Gospel. So we count this work as very significant.

We have weekly youth meetings and one summer camp meeting. On weekly youth meetings we meet new young Christians, talking with them, explaining God's call for Missions and inviting them to our mission trips. It is also a time of sharing new ideas and discussing about new projects in new places. Summer camp meeting is a great tool for inspiration work, acquaintances, and proclaiming Gospel in nearest town.

Possible expenses:

Weekly youth meetings - once a week for three month - 15 meetings. For this time it become clear - does our call accepted or not, and we see new volunteers who can work productively in mission projects. The cost for 1 person is 1 USD for a meeting (It include tea, cookies, and sweeties). Usual number of invited youth is 30 persons, so the cost of each meeting is 30 USD.

Summer youth camp - we do it every year in forest, on river shore in wonderful places. It takes about a week - maybe 4-5 days, including weekend. You know that young people need such meetings very much and it is great time for them. We mixing sport and tourist exercises with spiritual part - different seminars and worships. The cost of food for each person is 2 USD per day, it is 320 USD for 40 young people on four day camp.

Additional resources we need for such programs:

Tourist equipment - of any kind: bicycles, boats, balls, sport equipment, tourist kitchen equipment - all things what will be useful in youth camp meetings.

Diesel electricity generator - for producing electricity in camp located far from living places - for kitchen, night lamps and lecture projection.

Tourist tents - we have a need in 5 tents with eight places in each for normal camp. But we will be glad to any kind of tourist tents.
